We are staying in the dorms at the University of Auckland.
It is right in the center of downtown and it seems that everything is in
walking distance. We are on the tenth floor of a skyscraper that looks out over
the bay. The view is spectacular. Last night for dinner we walked to McDonalds
and ate Georgie Pies for dinner. They were delicious. Little pies with mince
meat or chicken in the middle. Only for a traditional meat pie would I ever eat
at McDonalds, in any country.
